Iupiace™ is our modified polyphenylene ether resin (modified PPE resin). It is an amorphous engineered plastic composed mainly of polyphenylene ether resin (PPE resin) and polystyrene resin (PS resin). It has excellent electrical characteristics, flame retardancy, dimensional stability, and heat resistance, and has the smallest density among engineering plastics. In addition to its electrical properties, flame retardancy, and dimensional stability, it is used in a wide range of applications, including the use of interior electrical and electronic OA equipment, as well as automotive exterior parts and water-related parts such as pumps that make the most of water resistance.

Iupiace™ is highly resistant to hydrolysis and has little change in physical properties due to contact with (heat) water. It can contribute to resin for water contact applications such as pipes and fittings. Because of its high resistance to acids and alkalis, it can also be used for chemical contact applications.
